Pros
I loved my co-workers. Had some fun events.
Cons
When I was first hired, Jonathan Coons, the founder was still CEO. He had a vision - take care of our associates and they will take care of our customers and our bottom line. It was a little revolutionary but it worked! Even in the recession, the company was growing, the customers were loyal and the associates were happy. When he left that vision slowly but surely evolved. Now the bottom line is ALL that matters. Associates are just a number that can be replaced. Starting pay is $12 - which may seem ok until you realize that all the call centers and warehouses surrounding us start at AT LEAST $15! EBay, thumbtack, Netflix, jet.com - even the Walmart warehouse! Our benefits are comparable to the other companies but not better. Leadership tries to tell it's associates the pay difference doesn't matter because they have a gym, cafeteria and events but many of these companies offer the same now-a-days AND the warehouse does NOT have a gym, their cafeteria is being taken away and they are often left out of events. To top it off management at the warehouse is ATROCIOUS! They made it very clear over the last few months that they are downsizing but don't want to pay anyone a severance. It appears their game plan is make everyone miserable so they quit then shuffle the stragglers into the call center where they won't be able to hit the ridiculously high standards and will be fired. Some way to treat your employees! I decided to quit before it got any worse. Avoid working here, it's not worth your soul!
