Pros

Friendly clients, and an conditioned office

Cons

This company’s real estate growth outpaced its on-site operations structure by a long shot. The offices themselves are well designed in good locations, but there is no system to successfully run once launched. The staffing is short in nearly every aspect, with 1-2 people expected to function as the the receptionist/manager/billing dept/janitor/mailman/furniture mover/ITtech/etc. To compound this issue, upper management is not willing to invest in any software tools to manage such a large number of clients. The staff has to handle everything manually through paper notes transferred in and out of jumbled spreadsheets. There is no data integrity because there has never been a way to conduct a proper system audit (or even a discernible system to audit). Handling your clients’ account details successfully is akin to building a bridge of popsicle sticks and play-doh; and hoping nothing of weight comes along to test the gap. I see recent 5 star reviews parroting company catchphrases word for word and claiming the only “con” is “leaving my clients on Friday”. Maybe I just missed the magic at this place, but those reviews are the textbook definition of too good to be true. If you like transferring calls all day while you sort mail, and “managing” an office where you have no autonomy; then step right through the curated modern facade. If you value functionality, critical thinking, and the proper tools to complete the job ahead; I would steer clear.

Thank you for this! We're constantly trying to improve, and we know the job is not for everyone. It is hard to keep up with the duties of a Community Manager. We get it, it's not six sigma, as no other small business is. We do, however have weekly trainings, meetings, one on ones with supervisors who are very accessible and opportunities to grow and learn. We are especially proud of our culture, our diversity, and work-life balance: focused on bracketing work where it should be- Rarely, if ever do we call on nights or weekends. We hope you find the perfect career, and learned while you were here, Thanks again for the feedback, glad you liked the clients--they are the best!

Good starter job, but that's it

Pros

Good for starting or ending a career and gaining experience. Plus, my coworkers were great and sometimes the clients could be too.

Cons

Not a long term job for sure. The pay is a joke, they expect you to do so much for little pay. They would get so excited about changes being made, but it would have nothing to do with why the employees were actually unhappy. They say that due to incentives, we can make more money, but you only come out with maybe 2-3,000 extra if you're lucky. I thought it was funny considering they'd want you to have a top notch wardrobe, hair done, make up done every single day. Management would also call "urgent" mandatory meetings, which would result in us being told that someone was talking about the company outside of Worksuites. First off, duhhhh you can't make everyone happy and why are we concerning ourselves with this? Two, maybe if you actually valued your employees, it wouldn't happen as often. Lastly, if you know who it is, then why are we being addressed as a group and not that person directly? We were always short staffed, as you can see now, they're currently looking for managers and coordinators. This is all the time. So asking for time off is a pain because we don't find out til the week or sometimes day before since we didn't have enough staff.

Pros

The clients at your location are great.

Cons

Female employees are required to look "date ready" . Heels are required at all times. . Lack of transparency in the operations of company, especially as it pertains to the near constant turn-over. Poor pay and poor benefits. No 401k, healthcare plan is the bare minimum. They do promote from within, but there is really only one position you can get promoted to, which only adds $2 more dollars an hour and MUCH more stress and responsibilities, then it dead ends. Upper management feels like a sorority in which there is heavy favoritism.
