Pros

Big so there are alot of good places to work inside the company. The big campus was fun to work at. Soft-skill back-slapping types will excel in climbing the ranks.

Cons

Big so there are alot of bad places to work inside the company. Managers play musical chairs with teams, you will get a new manager every 2 years at least. I've had managers for my technical roles who are not technical which is not good if you are stronger on tech skills than soft skills. Poor technical skills in general by the tech leads who'se only job seems to be to yoke contractors to create less-than-excellent internal technical products. This is why I left the company for other opportunities. Big so sometimes the left doesn't know what the right is doing.

Pros

One of their core values is "we help one another succeed". Pay and benefits are good and large annual bonuses averaging around 15% of salary.

Cons

There is an unstated expectation that you work 44 hours per week. Most IT professionals have no issue with working additional hours if some crisis presents itself so a lot of co-workers I spoke with found this policy somewhat offensive.

Pros

Amazing benefits, you can do the bare minimum and have job security. If you’re looking for a chill environment to cash a bonus and earn a ton of PTO, this is the place

Cons

Not really a competitive salary. Management is pool until you get to a VP level, which you hardly interact with. If you are a hard worker looking to climb the ladder, this isn’t a place for you.
