Rémy Smith-Lewis is a full life cycle recruiter who builds underrepresented talent pipelines in order to bring more diverse talent to 23andMe. His favorite part about working at the company is knowing the impact he is making by helping to bring in new talent. Rémy is also a member of our Black@23andMe ERG which is a group where Black employees and allies can have a safe space to talk and share experiences, the good and the bad. He notes that, “We need a place where we can safely be unapologetically Black.”
As part of our 23andMe+ membership, we released a new report powered by 23andMe research on diverticulitis. This report allows members to learn about their genetic likelihood of developing the condition, which occurs when small pouches in the digestive tract become inflamed.

Last week we virtually celebrated Lunar New Year with 23andMe employees. Members from our Asian and/or Pacific Islander Community ERG spoke about their different traditions during the holiday, including lots of food, family and festivals. We also got to see lion and dragon dance performances from LionDanceMe.
