We’re honored to be recognized for our Compensation & Benefits as part of the Top Workplaces awards! At AAA, we believe benefits should support associates through every chapter of life. In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month the Inclusion & Belonging Council created a special exhibit honoring the rich cultural backgrounds of our associates. Team members shared meaningful items from musical instruments and family heirlooms to cherished photos that reflected their heritage. These submissions were featured in a display at the Heathrow office and showcased in a virtual gallery accessible to all associates. Thank you to everyone who contributed and helped bring this celebration to life.
October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month — an excellent opportunity to unite our organization for a forward-looking discussion on the evolving security landscape. I was honored to host the second annual event, centered on how partnership remains a cornerstone of a strong cybersecurity and privacy posture. As technology and threats evolve, we to must evolve. By strengthening partnerships and fostering open communication, we build trust, resilience and innovation into everything we do. Grateful to all who joined and shared their perspectives — your engagement fuels our collective success.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at the AAA Leadership Summit! We kicked off the day with Putting for a Purpose, where colleagues had the chance to connect, explore our diverse business lines, and give back by supporting Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. Our opening session featured powerful insights from Gene Boehm (CEO), Lee McAllister (Chair, AAA Board of Directors), and Anastasia Martin, PMP, SPHR, SHRM-SCP (Chief People Officer). Keynote speaker Valerie Daniels-Carter (AAA Board of Directors) inspired us to think differently about "intrapreneurship" and challenged us to take ownership of our success. Throughout the day, we hosted more than 20 sessions and welcomed over 50 speakers. Topics ranged from creative communication strategies to personal leadership journeys, including “Communication is Key, So Let’s Lead with Legos”, led by Julia McLaughlin, Senior Project Manager IT, “Leadership Journeys” led by Heather Snavely, President & CEO, AAA Washington, “Stepping Beyond Comfort Zones” led by Lisa Melton, CPCU, Chief Marketing Officer, AAA Northeast, and “Navigating Inclusive Leadership Through a Minority Lens – Powered by AAA employee resource group, SOUL”. Each conversation reinforced the importance of learning, growing, and leading with purpose.
AAA National celebrated more successes recently! We honored our next cohort of LEAD graduates. With their supervisors present, they shared how they will continue their leadership journey past our classroom experience. I always learn so much from these leaders and so proud to be the facilitator of this program. We went geocaching around the building with our amazing interns! They found QR codes prompting them with reflective questions about their experience. It was an awesome way to hear from these emerging leaders the lessons they have learned through their time with our organization. I love my job.
