The burden of finding ways to be included shouldn't fall on the employee. Ally’s employee relations team finds new ways to make it easier for people with disabilities to reach their full potential at work. Jenny Arend, a senior supervisor in Ally’s insurance claims department, saw Ally’s commitment to inclusion from her first interaction, and still feels that support by using the latest technology to accommodate hearing loss. #BetterOffWithAnAlly
Ally encourages employees to be open about their responsibilities at home, just like they do with their work. Giovanni Ulloa, director of consumer innovation, is a caregiver for his son and found support and connection in Ally’s Diverse Abilities ERG, helping him be the best husband, dad and teammate he can be. #BetterOffWithAnAlly
Disabilities are vast – some affect us for a short period and others can be lifelong. De'ja Lenoir, part of Ally’s auditing team, is open about her Bipolar Disorder diagnosis and how she manages an invisible disability. Working with Ally’s Employee Relations team and the Diverse Abilities ERG, De’ja can bring her whole self to work knowing she will be supported and understood. #BetterOffWithAnAlly
In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, our Aliados Employee Resource Group (ERG) was proud to represent Ally during the center circle banner ceremony at the Charlotte FC match. Truly, we're all better off with an Aliado.
