This week we celebrated Juneteenth, a pivotal moment in American history marking the end of slavery in the United States. This day is a time to honor the profound impact of African American history and culture on our society. To commemorate this occasion, our office hosted a series of meaningful events across our offices, including lunches featuring dishes from Black-owned businesses, a captivating Fashion Show themed "Journey to African Roots," and vibrant local music performances, just to name a few. In addition, we were honored to have an inspiring virtual presentation and Q&A session with Opal Lee, the "Grandmother of Juneteenth," and Jarred Howard, the Chief Executive Officer and lead developer of the National Juneteenth Museum. We believe it's essential to celebrate and reflect on Juneteenth, and we are proud to offer our employees the day off to join in this meaningful observance. Happy Juneteenth!

We are proud to announce that we kicked off of our new Employee Resource Group, MINDMatters, during Mental Health Awareness Month! This initiative is dedicated to creating a culture where the spectrum of mental health and neurodivergence is understood, prioritized, supported and de-stigmatized. Pictured are the leaders who spearheaded the launch of MINDMatters during the kickoff call: Cheryl Zobal, Patrick Dodd, Brian Battaglia, Hussein Visram, Laura Salekin, Erika Stanley, Nick Gotsis and Kyle Barnard. Through advocacy and education, we aim to empower our employees to prioritize their mental wellness and overall well-being. That's why we're committed to providing our team with the tools and resources they need to focus on their mental health and get help when they need it.
