We love getting featured in Design Milk! "Influenced by the geophysics of the location, the home’s design aims to add to the natural surroundings rather than detract."
Working with creative clients gives our teams the opportunity to design spaces that are truly iconic, such as Aristocrat’s office in Austin, Texas. A pioneer in the gaming industry, Aristocrat has locations all over the world. “That connectivity is very special to them,” says interior designer Jennifer Moore, “however they also have a unique character here in Austin that we wanted to celebrate.” Our team of architects, engineers, and interior designers brought this connection and character to the fore with wooden webs that delineate the spaces, including collaboration areas, test lab, coffee bar, and arcade for an “old school” gaming feel. The office is a sophisticated space, but “just like in their games, there are moments of fun and spontaneity.” http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vMFUc
New in our portfolio: With simple, gabled forms and an agrarian aesthetic, this 3,000 sq. ft. home was designed to be highly functional, maximize energy performance, and capitalize on the sweeping views of the surrounding mountain ranges. Marrying a modern aesthetic with traditional influences, the home is organized around a driveway courtyard, with separate access to living spaces, photo studio, and music studio. The home incorporates a wide array of features that support the client’s sustainability goals. http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vMFUl

For World Landscape Architecture Month, we’re taking a look at some of the ways we can push the boundaries in landscape architecture. The projects cover an array of concepts: the use of virtual reality in landscape design, ecosystem restoration and education, and how nature-driven design can facilitate healing. http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vMnwB
One of our areas of expertise is designing holistic healthcare facilities that consider the full patient experience. This often extends beyond the interior spaces and the building itself, as we consider approach and entrance, flow of movement, and efficiency of operations. For Bozeman Health’s new intensive care unit, our master plan covers all of these elements, bringing together expertise across our engineering disciplines, as well as architecture, landscape, interior, and graphic design. See the result in renderings as well as a virtual tour.
