A friendly rivalry at PitchBook to celebrate the Apple Cup! Our office was a clash of purple and crimson where employees shared their allegiance to UW or WSU last month. We even had caramel apples to celebrate the weekend's festivities!
This Saturday a pack of pink Panthers made strides against breast cancer to raise money and awareness with The American Cancer Society! We didn't let the Seattle weather rain on our parade, thanks to our pink ponchos and pep in our step!
In August, PitchBook Seattle and New York hosted our second annual shuffleboard tournament. The finals were held in our Seattle office and included an in house DJ, soundboard, commentators, and an all around great time! Congrats to our winners and the 72 teams who participated this year!
A small group of Seattle Panthers made their way to T-Mobile Park to celebrate PitchBook's achievement of being one of Washington's Best Places to Work. PitchBook Placed #15 in the Extra-Large Business Category (250+). We were rewarded with a beautiful plaque, a picture with the Mariner Moose, the chance to explore the ballpark, and the pride in knowing that PitchBook truly is a fantastic place to work!
This week PitchBook's philanthropy branch took to the kitchens of both Teen Feed and Union Gospel Mission to prepare and serve dinner to Seattle's local homeless community. Many employees learned a new recipe, while preparing a delicious sesame chicken/tofu dish with rice and vegetables for our guests.
PitchBook's Women's Initiative hosted the first Women in VC Panel that included a powerhouse lineup of four inspiring and talented women from the Seattle venture capital market. The evening included an employee moderated panel and networking with industry guests and PitchBook employees!
The Seattle and London offices both hosted PitchBook's very first Charity Poker Tournament. Over 50 employees competed for a chance to win and donate the money raised to a charity of their choice. Despite intense poker faces, the night was full of laughter and smiles to support a good cause and mingle with colleagues!
In March, we celebrated International Women's Month by highlighting the hard work of the women at PitchBook and in the VC market. We snacked on treats from Seattle women-owned businesses and attended events that supported the empowerment, growth and continuing education of women.
