The power of pink! Breast Cancer Awareness Month has now come to an end, and we’re celebrating the efforts of our teams in León and Toledo who worked to raise awareness and funds in support of the cause. Our León team has been collecting recyclables that will turn into cash, which will then be donated a local cancer foundation. In Toledo, we supported Sonny Hamizadeh who participated in Northwest Ohio’s Real Men Wear Pink campaign, raising more than $850 through various Employee Club-sponsored activities that helped him exceed his $4,000 goal. At SSOE, it's clear we think a cure is something worth fighting for! #SSOEcares #chooseSSOE

Last month, Chetan and Tapabrata of our BIM2Fab® Steel team visited our Toledo and Troy offices all the way from Mumbai. While here, they met the rest of our steel detailing team and visited a fabrication shop to gain real-world context. In addition to their work, they joined fellow team members at a University of Toledo football game while also enjoying a visit to the Toledo Museum of Art, boat ride on the Maumee River, and more. Tapabrata, a team leader, also had the opportunity to travel to Lincoln, Nebraska during his visit to represent SSOE at the SDS/2 Users Group Conference. Our office in Mumbai is currently celebrating Diwali, and will be closed until Wednesday, October 30th in honor of the holiday. Stay tuned for pics of the office’s Diwali festivities today! #SSOEindia #chooseSSOE
We have architectural design down to a fine art. In honor of National Art Day, which occurs annually on October 25th, we’re highlighting the work we did for The Toledo Museum of Art, voted the Best Art Museum in Ohio in 2019 by Ohio Magazine. SSOE was hired for the three-gallery renovation that provides the museum increased flexibility in the display of art, incorporating large-scale electronic media exhibiting capabilities. The galleries—named the New Media Gallery, Levis Gallery, and Asian Gallery—offer a more contemporary look with exposed masonry walls and ceilings to showcase the building’s natural beauty and character. The New Media Gallery is currently home to the multisensory “Everything is Rhythm”: Mid-Century Art & Music exhibit through February 23rd and the Levis Gallery features the Global Conversations: Art in Dialogue exhibit through March 8th. #NationalArtDay
