In continuation with our 75th anniversary “Building the Future” Contest, our León office presented Lion's Heart Academy—just 25 miles from our local office—with a $500 donation to further STEM education. Lion’s Heart Academy has grown into being a full-fledged educational program offering preschool to high school curriculum, American High School Diploma certification, scholarship assistance, and more for the León-area community. Warming up Toledo: On Wednesday, employees at our world headquarters took 15-minute shifts during lunch to help the United Way of Greater Toledo with a blanket build. We ultimately packaged 300 kits for residents at Lucas County’s senior centers. In addition to a cozy blanket, each kit also contained lotion, soap, lip balm, a comb, and an adult coloring book with colored pencils. #SSOEcares

Good things come in threes! Last month, our León office threw an open house reception to inaugurate the expansion of our third additional floor. SSOE’s Greg Brogley, Waynetta Rogers, and Vivi Donikian traveled south of the U.S. border to join local staff for a special town hall and ribbon-cutting ceremony. Our success in Mexico has blossomed threefold—expanding our principal location in León after a short 10 years since opening our doors, establishing another location in Chihuahua earlier this year, and continuing to grow our footprint in Mexico where we have SSOE’s third largest office. #SSOEmexico
