Congratulations to two of our own! We’re excited to share that SSOE’s Vince DiPofi, PE, Chief Executive Officer, and James Burtnett-Grigsby, PE, Chemical Process Engineer, have been recognized as this year’s Toledo-area Engineer of the Year and Young Engineer of the Year, respectively, by the Toledo Society of Professional Engineers. Vince and Jim—both University of Toledo College of Engineering alums—were recently highlighted in local newspaper The Blade for each of their contributions to the field. Several employees from our Portland office, including SSOE President Catherine Myers, recently came together to help the Blanchet House & Farm, a local nonprofit social services organization that offers food, shelter, and aid to anyone in need. Over $2,500 worth of items needed to make more than 100 care kits for houseless Oregonians were purchased by SSOE, and our team went to work assembling and delivering them. #SSOEportland #SSOEcares
