While on route last week, residential driver Tina Martinez of Murrey’s Disposal noticed an elderly gentleman who had fallen while loading his electric scooter into his truck. Upon falling, this gentleman hit his head and lost consciousness. Tina immediately halted her route and helped take control, calling 911 and staying by the man and his wife’s side until paramedics arrived. It turns out Tina’s selfless act actually saved this gentleman’s life! To show their gratitude, the family gifted Tina $100 cash as well as a 1-week stay in their family cabin every year for as long as they own it. We weren't able to be in the same room but that didn't stop us from getting together. The 3rd annual Coffee with the CFO event was a huge success reaching 100+ women employees!
