Nadia Grégoire is proud of her team. At the height of the crisis, all of her employees volunteered to help other departments that had urgent needs. She always listens to her team and encourages them to live our values, like collaboration. It’s a strong business value because being able to count on team members is essential in times of crisis for a manager and an organization. As well as supporting and listening to her employees when they were helping elsewhere in the company, Nadia decided to accompany new recruits on their first steps with us, sharing our values and helping them develop their skills. She’s always there for her current employees and made it a priority to be there for the new ones, too. On top of this double responsibility, Nadia accomplished all the tasks at hand. Since she made it easy for her team to adapt to new responsibilities or a new job under exceptional circumstances, we are just as proud of Nadia as she is of her team!
It means a lot for Sahil Aulakh to be there for his peers. That’s why he was eager to step up and support his team by making the transition from working in the office to working from home an easy one when COVID-19 hit. To get the most out of our new virtual interactions, Sahil helped his teammates maintain their face-to-face meetings over video and, as part of a national engagement team, he collaborated with others on ways to foster a positive environment. This meant brainstorming how to get everyone laughing and making sure there were always some team bonding activities on the agenda. As our normal continues to change, Sahil is focused on staying optimistic and connected and helping his team do the same.
Team manager, Vincent Lemire is one of the people responsible for team engagement. Promoting efficient communication, he liaises between employees and leaders for all our customer service centres in Quebec. COVID-19 didn't stand a chance at complicating Vincent’s mission. The challenges of our new work reality have pushed Vincent to be more creative, to give his all and to be motivated by our values of excellence and generosity so he can continue keeping the teams tightly knit. He inspires teammates to encourage each other from a distance and – very importantly - to have fun at work. Mission accomplished, Vincent!

Shah Zaib knows one of the ways to succeed as a team is resiliency. He learned this firsthand by providing valuable support to his site when almost all of our employees shifted to working from home when COVID-19 hit. He gained knowledge of the new environment and insight on ways to navigate the system. This enabled him to support his colleagues efficiently and help keep morale strong. Despite being busy as a full-time student, Shah played an invaluable role in helping others adjust to the new reality at work, like a true team player.
Harold Mila plays a key role in coding customer letters. When COVID-19 hit, there was a bulk of letters to code related to our relief measures and his drive for excellence along with his efficiency and agility helped him act fast, prioritizing customer satisfaction the whole time. As we adapt to different situations and our customers’ needs, Harold knows that in order to offer optimal service, sometimes this means implementing new ways of doing things. Despite challenges that may arise, he maintains his confidence and stays organized and well-equipped to get the job done. Coding decisions can have big impacts on the progress of a project and Harold’s efforts are instrumental to the team’s success. It takes diligence and, sometimes, some long days on Harold’s part, but also a lot of interaction and collaboration with the rest of the team.
