Well for me I didn't get the proper training 4 Goodwill I had to train myself by learning how to stop on my own and figure out where things went

It depends on which co-worker trained you. The training was very basic, being shown the ins and outs of the daily operation at the store.

Training is a joke. They teach you how to sort everything into totes according to what it is, it's not rocket science, you can't throw anything away unless it's used for a child under the age of 3, like a new baby bed, stroller, walker, bath tub, or exerciser, you know, the stuff everyone wants to buy but goodwill is afraid that a recall may have been on the item and they might get a law suit. But let's keep those wore out underwear with the skid marks so the sorter has to see them too and go to the bargain store to be looked at again by the customers! What fun, feels like you're digging in people's trash one minute then you have the good ones who actually give you clothes with new tags. It's like you never know what you're gonna get but your looking for the diamond all the time. Once you learn to sort then you learn where it all goes to be processed and then you learn what you were hired to do.
