Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective and your positive experience with our company culture and management. We are committed to creating and sustaining a culture that inspires our employees and makes them feel appreciated and part of the First Command family. As you note, the Advisor role can be challenging. However, it also comes with many opportunities. Our Advisors go through an extensive training program designed to equip them to succeed as independent contractors. Through the program, Advisors learn how to build and grow their own business, serve new clients, and provide quality, face-to-face financial coaching. The rewards of hard work and dedication are a satisfying career, a company that fully supports you, and the opportunity to help those who serve in their pursuit of lifelong financial security. We appreciate your feedback and thank you for taking the time to share your experience.

Pros

Working at First Command has been an incredible experience, especially as someone who moved from Sweden to Texas. Transitioning to a new country and career at the same time can be daunting, but the environment here made it seamless. What stands out most is the authentic and inclusive culture. It isn’t just "corporate speak"—the First Command family is genuinely enthusiastic about what they do and focused on doing it with the highest level of professionalism while keeping it down to earth and humble. The work environment is excellent, striking a perfect balance between being high-achieving and deeply supportive. If you are looking for a workplace that values transparency and offers a truly great culture, I can’t recommend First Command enough. It has been the perfect place to start my American professional journey. It might even be where I end my professional journey.
