She is originally from Jamaica and came to the States seeking better opportunities for herself and her daughter. She has been with Morning Pointe for almost 5 years, and her residents and associates even helped her prepare for the exam. Now she is just awaiting the swearing-in. Congratulations, Marcelle!

Meet Bebe Reed, RN, Morning Pointe's new Vice President of Clinical Services. Bebe supports the regional and community nursing teams in overseeing clinical operations at each of Morning Pointe’s 37 campuses. She provides leadership to promote and grow wellness initiatives, as well as help develop clinical policies and procedures. "I am impressed with the quality of the leaders here and their ability to work together and support each other,” Bebe said. Bebe comes to the Morning Pointe team from Griffin Living, a senior living company, where she served as vice president of operations for assisted living. She has 28 years of experience as a nurse, including providing leadership and mentorship in a variety of healthcare settings. She has a background in risk management, wellness and regulatory compliance.
Morning Pointe Senior Living is celebrating Pride in Foodservice Week, Feb. 6-10! Meet Stephanie Peyton, Food Services Director at The Lantern at Morning Pointe of Frankfort (KY), one of our Alzheimer's Centers of Excellence, and Johnnie Watson, FSD at Morning Pointe of Athens (TN). “The teamwork here, the camaraderie here – it’s just different than what I have experienced in other places,” Stephanie said. She has been with Morning Pointe for 10 years and is well known for her cheese ball creations. Johnnie has been with Morning Pointe for almost 12 years and brought many of her mother's from-scratch recipes with her, including her decadent chocolate pies! “I’m here for the residents,” Johnnie said. “I love taking care of them and making them happy.”
Amanda Campbell, PM Cook at Morning Pointe of Knoxville, TN, started at the Assisted Living community about two months ago as a Dietary Aide before being promoted. She came to the building because she knew the Food Service Director from a previous job and enjoyed working with him. She likes the one-on-one interactions with residents and attention to detail among the dietary team. About her job, Amanda shared: "It’s rewarding. I can go home at night and feel like I’ve done something that makes my heart feel whole.”
Robin Jackson, the Executive Director at Morning Pointe of Hixson (TN) Assisted Living and Memory Care, has worked in senior living for 28 years and at Morning Pointe for more than 4 years. "Older people have always pulled at my heartstrings," said Robin. "I always had a good relationship with my grandparents." When asked what she loves about her job, she shared, "It's the camaraderie of the team and the residents. We're one big family over here. We get along so well." In her free time, Robin volunteers with Remote Area Medical, bringing free healthcare to those who otherwise couldn't afford it.

Morning Pointe Senior Living recently named Dwayne Butler as its new director of dining operations. Dwayne was most recently Food Services Director at Morning Pointe of Hixson TN. In his new role, he oversees dining services across the company’s 37 campuses. He will train new FSDs and support the dietary teams with menus, budgeting and acquiring fresh local ingredients, among other responsibilities. “I love to cook, and I like taking care of older people,” said Dwayne. “I like making people happy with food.”
