Taylor Young is a Junior at Penn State University, studying Energy Engineering and working out of our northern Virginia office. “Coming into my first internship with little to no experience in the field, I was somewhat nervous for the summer. However, I have met so many wonderful people at Rosendin that allowed me to enjoy my time here thoroughly. The information that I have gained from engineers, project managers, and electricians has vastly expanded my knowledge of construction and electrical engineering. Rosendin truly cares about their employees and their interns. From Intern Week, in San Jose, CA, to baseball games and lunches with people in every department, I couldn’t have been welcomed in a better way. The company's culture has allowed us to learn from mentors and other interns, which makes us feel like a team every day. I’m very thankful to have spent the summer learning and growing with such an amazing company!“
Rosendin's Sterling, VA office welcomed Jaclyn McNulty this summer as an intern with our Engineering team. Jaclyn is completing her BS and MS degrees in Architectural Engineering at the Milwaukee School of Engineering. "Everyone I have met at Rosendin has been more than willing to help me learn. My degree program has focused on the design side of engineering, so this summer I have been learning a lot about the nuances of the design-build world and how diverse the field is. Along the way, my various mentors have taught me skills that I will need to succeed in my future. The open, flexible culture of Rosendin allows for young people such as myself to grow and gain positive experiences.”
Cassidy Aranda is an Engineering Intern in Rosendin's Anaheim, CA office. Cassidy is a Senior at California Baptist University studying Computer and Electrical Engineering. “I have had the privilege of gaining exposure to two sides of Rosendin’s Engineering Department. On the Renewable’s side, I have created photo-voltaic feeder schedules for $100 million solar panel builds and ensured that string sizing for these builds were both economically feasible and electrically viable. On the Commercial side, I worked on the circuiting and placing of mechanical and lighting fixtures of both regular and emergency power for high rise, hospital, and airport projects. The engineers I have been mentored by are incredibly talented and have answered all of my questions with enthusiasm and knowledgeable insight. On a job site visit, I went into the heart of the electrical rooms, and analyzed first-hand panels, circuit breaker systems, and transformers, one of which I'm pictured with here!”

I have noticed that people who work for Rosendin, in every department want to help you succeed and want to help you learn and succeed.
