Pros

It’s okay nothing amazing. It’s a job

Cons

Poor management. Rarely gives raises in general, but also does not take into consideration cost of living raises. Also tells employees not to discuss wages (certain states like mine, have protection for employees that they are able to ask). Because we are protected in my state and can discuss wages outside of work/not on working time: we have found they are paying others who just started working there the same or higher wages than those who have been there many years and progressed in their roles/careers. They have benefits but pay a lot for medical and it’s out of state catastrophic benefits so really only helps you if you hit your high deductible or have surgery etc. No retirement 401k match

Thank you for your feedback! We’re happy to hear that you are pleased with your total compensation package. Competitive pay, vacation time, and benefits are important to us and our employees. We are committed to paying competitive wages and offering comprehensive and affordable benefits. This commitment was demonstrated by significant consecutive benefits cost reductions in 2020, 2021, and 2022, putting money back into the pockets of our employees. In terms of sick pay, we offer various employment options so that employees can choose one that best fits their needs. If you have questions about the various options, please reach out to your manager. Thank you for helping to make CTG a Great Place to Work!

We appreciate the time you took to submit your feedback, however, we respectfully disagree that there are no positive aspects of working at CTG. Year over year, our Great Place to Work survey results illustrate employees enjoy our collaborative culture, supportive and engaged coworkers, and open and honest communication amongst all levels of the organization. We are proud to have achieved Great Place to Work certification each year we’ve participated in the survey. You mentioned your hourly work status; CTG provides various employment types whenever possible to allow employees to choose the option that best fits their benefits and paid time off needs. We’re disappointed to hear your needs were not met, and we wish you the best of luck in the future.

Pros

Remote work, pays well, plenty of opportunity for advancement

Cons

At times we deal with too many contracts at one time, could provide better benefits like 401k matching or less costly health insurance

We appreciate the time you took to submit your feedback. We are happy to hear you are pleased with your compensation, as fair and equitable pay is important to us. Many of our employees would agree with you that the ability to work from home lands in the “pros” column at CTG. In our recent Great Place to Work survey, employees cited the ability to work from home as one of the top three special and unique characteristics of CTG. In terms of structure and time off, our organizational structure allows for different employment options that employees may choose depending on their needs. While we allow all employees to take off throughout the year, paid time off is dependent upon the individual’s employment option. Please reach out to your manager with any questions regarding taking time off. Thank you for being a member of our CTG family!

Pros

You have the opportunity to work with both Lenovo and CTG, providing diverse perspectives. Some assistants are wonderful to work with and create a positive work environment. The role offers exposure to a well-known brand and potential for networking within Lenovo.

Cons

The dual management structure (Lenovo and CTG) can feel bureaucratic and inefficient. As a CTG contractor, it’s common to feel like an "outsider" since many perks, benefits, and employee groups are reserved for Lenovo employees. Transitioning from a CTG contractor to a full-time Lenovo employee is difficult, even after years of service, despite management’s reassurances. CTG contractors receive lower pay and fewer benefits compared to Lenovo employees. Some CTG PTO is automatically used for Lenovo holidays, giving you less flexibility in how you use your time off. Opportunities for pay raises are limited, and the company is unlikely to match competitive offers from other employers.

Pros

-my team & supervisor in Alaska were very respectful. -Chill, but not too chill. We pushed to do good work, on time. -Supervisor & team were flexible. -Local HR Team did a lot to help me with certain paperwork. -You can flex your working hours a bit, as long as you get your assignments done and attend meetings.

Cons

-Pay is average-ish locally. I don't call that competitive. -number of holidays average, which is not good. It's average. You get about 3 weeks paid time off, including PTO, sick days, personal days, bereavement, etc. -Healthcare benefits are expensive. -There is no 401k match or bonuses, other than New Hire referrals, and New Business referrals. At least for the bottom level workers. -CTG did not offer me significant raises, until I got a competing offer. -Tuition reimbursement vests after 1 year. -In 3 years, no supervisor of mine ever told me of any interesting contracts with other clients, or promotion opportunities. I think they wanted to keep me where I was.

Pros

* If you have the skills needed, they will hire you

Cons

* You will only be paid 3/4 or less of what your worth - this is because they are bound by the hired corporation salary agreement to pay CTG for each hired contractor that CTG hires and nothing more. For example, the corporation that you will end up working for will pay CTG $150K a year. You will only get paid $75K a year or less. The rest of these dollars goes to CTG so they can stay in business * CTG does not provide yearly employee reviews - You will not get a yearly review to discuss your contributions, accomplishments, etc * CTG does not provide yearly pay increases or bonuses - For (9) years, I received not one pay increase or bonus while working as a top contributor for the company that I was hired to work for * CTG does not treat their employees fairly as regular corporate employees are treated - When regular (non-CTG employees) are given paid personal time off with pay, as a CTG employee, you will have to use a vacation day or take a day without pay or just work on that day when others have the day off with pay
